Jesus Took Mommy 
 
Mommy went away 
It was a cold November day 
Remember it now like it was just yesterday 
 
Daddy said Jesus needed mommy much more than me 
Looking back now I just can't see 
How this could be so 
Why did mommy have to go? 
 
A boy needs his mommy 
That's so plain to see 
So why then did Jesus 
Take mommy away from me?
